Baptism

Some of the family stopped by on the Saturday before the baptism and we got to visit with them. The boys got to meet their Aunt Marion, Aunt Maryjo, Uncle Ed for the first time and their Uncle Shawn for the second time. They were a big help getting ready for the party and as a bonus brought a tray of chicken nuggets from Chick-fil-A for lunch (Jennifer I know you are super jealous)!

My parents came out for the big day as well. My dad was amazed at how big David has gotten! They even babysat for a couple of hours so we could go out and get dinner and ice cream.

The boy's were baptized Sunday, July 25th. Thanks to everyone who celebrated the day with us!

Emily had a tough job holding a very fussy David while Fr. David baptized him. He screamed the entire time!

Gabriel loves to stretch so much that he even was stretching his little arms while being baptized.

Nate and Eva on the left (with Gabriel). Father David in the middle. And Emily on the right (with David). We feel very fortunate that our friend Fr. David, who married us four years ago, was able to baptize our children.

Eva knitted the boys some sweet booties (and Nichole tells me I put them on wrong because they should be matching).
