When I was younger we used to vacation at Ocean City, MD often, but i hadn't been there for many years. I hadn't actually been to any beach for several years! So you can imagine how excited we were to take this vacation! We had a great time visiting with family, eating good food and introducing the boys to the beach. The boys wanted nothing to do with the sand at first and were content to play with their clean sand toys on the sheet.
They weren't too fond of the water either..... at first.
So it was a very good thing we had this little pool for them to play in.
Here is Gabriel wrapped in a towel after getting all wet in the ocean.
One of the boys favorite things to do was to walk up and down the beach with Gmom. These walks seemed to put the boys right out. So sweet!
Surprisingly the boys didn't mind being buried alive. They have their hands up because they didn't like touching the sand still at this point.
Morning walks on the beach were relaxing. The sound of the ocean is so peaceful and can drown out almost anything, right mom? ;) Mom had to chase us down on the beach to give us a key but we didn't hear her until she finally caught us. The boys fell asleep on these walks too.
We went to Assateague Island to see the wild horses. They were all a little too far away to get a good picture with us but here is us on their beach.
Aunt Karen, Katie & Mom-mom went to see the parasailers.
Alexa looking precious and so grown up. She is only two but knows the boys by name and was a big help playing with them! We wish we got to see her more often.
After the beach we spent a few more days visiting Gmom & Grandpa. The boys love being outside, especially at their house. They had fun picking all their flowers, eating crab apples & playing with Maggie (hopefully we will get a video posted soon). They also really liked their walks in the wagon.
Thanks for a great trip mom & dad! We love you!
That sounds like a way fun trip and as usual, you got some fantastic picture. My favorite? The boys being buried alive with their hands up.I'm impressed they took that! We miss you guys!
