A rare blog of stories...

Peter:  "Nichole, did you take a bite of a muffin in here?"
Nichole: "Yes"
Peter: (Sigh of relief and then... ) "Only one bite... why?"
Nichole: "Because i only wanted one bite" (it happens!)

I wasn't sure at the time why he cared so much...


The next day
Peter: "Did you leave jimmies in the sink?"  (chocolate jimmies)
Nichole: "Um, yes"
Peter: (Very upset) "Why!!"
Nichole: "Because i spilled some on the counter and then wiped them up and threw them in the sink"
Peter: (lecture that i should rinse them away)
Nichole: "What is the big deal?"

Apparently, Peter was getting freaked out that we had mice (again, it is an old house, it happens.)  Hahaha... i was unintentionally leaving little signs.  Except that, what mouse takes a giant bite out of a muffin?  And the quantity of chocolate sprinkles would have indicated an entire mouse army had done business in our sink!  But still, I thought this funny.  :)

Today something else funny happened.  A little girl (Katherine, same age as boys) was visiting.  They all have lots of fun together. Gabriel likes to give Katherine lots of attention.  At one point though, Gabriel pushed Katherine.  So he got reprimanded and was told to apologize.  He did.  Then he was told to blow her a kiss.  Instead he leaned over and kissed her full on the lips (and she kissed back).  I pulled Gabriel on my lap and explained that he was NOT to hit Katherine again.

SO Gabriel goes immediately back to Katherine and David AND... hits David!  I again reprimand him, have him apologize and tell him to blow a kiss to David.  After apologizing to David, he turns back to Katherine and kisses her on the lips again!  It was so funny!

Of course there were more kisses when they said goodbye.  Katherine (sweet and fair-minded) also attempted to kiss David goodbye... but he wasn't having any of it... David ran away!!  Not sure what all this means... haha... except that Gabriel might be getting in trouble intentionally to get to make up!  Oh well.  At least i still get lots of kisses too.  :)
