Ok, until they wanted to overturn that one... I intervened just in time. If you look closely, there are 3 other spots which have been of interest to the boys in this pic. See if you can find them.

1. Tree (see missing bark... there is much more missing now)
2. Far left corner of yard... that is a grate... the boys were throwing rocks, sticks and a few of their toys down it "Help!!!! Help me!!! AHHHhhhhhhhh" and then they drop in the object.
3. Bush hole... boys words not mine. That bush is actually 3 and there is a little space between them where they can sneak inside... it is their special hide out.
So we are happy with the house.
We started exploring the neighborhood too. So far no one has brought me any cookies....... come on southerners! But I did meet 2 very nice neighbors and we found the nature trail for the neighborhood. It is really nice. The boys loved being in the woods today and I am happy we can walk there from our house. If you google map our address online, you can see the nature trail on the map... although it is much more extensive than it looks... the map is very outdated. There is even a river we can go in, in the summer!
Come visit!

Looks great! How are the separate rooms going for the boys?
ReplyDeleteGoing well. Gabriel is a great sleeper and is so easy to put down now. David is still hard to get to down but at least he isn't disturbing Gabriel. And because of the lack of support we can usually get David down faster too.
DeleteYea! Guest room looks ready!! :)
ReplyDeleteSo ready :) Accepting visitors after Easter :)
